Stridely Terms of Use
Effective October 23, 2026
These terms are the rules for using Stridely, a social walking app by WeWebWorks. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Who can use Stridely
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to use an online service where you live if that is higher.
- You sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple account secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not create accounts to get around a block or a suspension.
Your content and how to behave
- Your display name, username, profile photo, cheers, challenge chat messages and direct messages are your content. You keep ownership, and you let us store and show them to the people you choose (friends, the other members of your challenges, and the person you message) so the app can work.
- Groups are private and invite only: a member who is your friend can invite you, or you can join with the group code. Everyone in a group can see the member list, group chat, milestones and the daily step totals of members who share them, so only join groups you are comfortable sharing with. The group owner can remove members and delete the group, and may change the code at any time. Be kind: harassment, spam and inappropriate content in a group can be reported and may lead to removal.
- Direct messages are private between you and one friend. They are stored on our servers so you can both read them, they are not end-to-end encrypted, and we do not read them unless one of you reports a message or the law requires it.
- Do not post or send anything that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, violent, illegal, misleading, or that targets a person or group. Do not impersonate others, share private information about others, or send spam.
- Use a name and photo you are happy for your friends to see.
Reporting, blocking and moderation
- You can report or block any person from the Friends tab, report a direct message by pressing and holding it, and delete your own chat and direct messages. Blocking stops that person from seeing you or contacting you, and ends your direct message thread.
- We review reports and aim to act on clear violations within 24 hours. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, and we do not have to give notice for serious violations.
- To reach us about abuse or a moderation decision, email the address under Contact below.
Fair play
- Step counts come from Apple Health and are only as accurate as their source. Do not enter fake data, use devices or tricks to inflate steps, or otherwise cheat in rankings and challenges.
- We may flag, exclude or correct step counts that look impossible, and we may remove results from rankings. Rankings are for fun and are not independently verified.
StrideCoins, levels and rewards
- StrideCoins, XP, levels, achievements and cosmetic rewards are virtual items for fun inside the app. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and cannot be exchanged for money or goods.
- We may change how they are earned or spent, add or retire rewards, or correct balances that were awarded by mistake.
Health information
- Stridely is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a health professional before changing how you exercise, and stop if you feel unwell.
- Do not push yourself to unsafe levels to win a challenge. Challenges are meant to be a friendly nudge, not a reason to ignore your body.
Your data
- How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your health data or your whole account at any time from Profile.
Changes, ending and liability
- We may update the app and these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app. Using the app after a change means you accept it.
- You can stop using Stridely and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to keep people safe.
- Stridely is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, WeWebWorks is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and is not responsible for the actions of other users. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
